Step-by-step deployment instructions

🔐 Stripe Configuration

1. Get Your Live API Keys

  • Go to Stripe Dashboard → API Keys
  • Toggle to "Live mode" (top right)
  • Copy your Secret key (starts with sk_live_)
  • Add it to Base44 Secrets as STRIPE_SECRET_KEY

2. Configure Webhook Endpoint

Your webhook URL:

https://[YOUR-APP].base44.app/functions/stripeWebhook
  • Go to Stripe Dashboard → Webhooks
  • Click "Add endpoint"
  • Paste your webhook URL (replace [YOUR-APP] with your actual subdomain)
  • Select events to listen for:
    • checkout.session.completed
    • customer.subscription.created
    • customer.subscription.updated
    • customer.subscription.deleted
    • invoice.payment_succeeded
    • invoice.payment_failed
  • Click "Add endpoint"
  • Copy the Signing secret (starts with whsec_)
  • Add it to Base44 Secrets as STRIPE_WEBHOOK_SECRET

⚠️ Important

Make sure you're using LIVE mode keys, not test mode! Test mode keys start with sk_test_ and won't work in production.

  • All items on the Launch Checklist are complete
  • You've tested complete user flows
  • Stripe webhook is working (check logs)
  • You have a plan for customer support
